While GR3 hasn't quite had the professional career that Wolverine fans had hoped before when he left after the 2013-'14 season, he has managed to stay in the league and is now heading to one of the most successful franchises in basketball. Given the number of players that struggle to even stay on a roster, things could be quite a bit worse for the former Wolverine.Free agent Glenn Robinson has agreed to a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, with a second-year player option, agent Jelani Floyd of @beyond_am tells The Athletic and Stadium.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) July 2, 2019
Realistically, Robinson will spend most of his time on the bench for the Warriors. He had to fight for playing time with the Pistons last year and it's hard to imagine less in front of him on the depth chart in the Bay. Still, there should be minutes available with the massive roster attrition that Golden State had endured in recent weeks, including Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala.
But no matter what happens, it should be interesting to follow in the coming months as the Warriors hope to rebound from losing to the Raptors in the Finals with GR3 added to the roster.
